Lake Chungju & Kosu Cave

Lake Chungju is a beautiful, clear, blue lake with South Korea’s largest multi functional dam.  Boating and fishing are available in addition to a cruise on a modern, safety inspected, climate-controlled ship that operates between Hung and Tanyang.
Kosu Cave, National Monument No. 256, is a natural lime stone cave that is 450 million years old, 1.7km long, and has areas where the ceilings are 50m high.  Wear comfortable shoes for exploring.  Trip includes a four-hour drive.

Pyonsan National Park, Chikso Waterfall & Neso Temple

See beautiful Chikso Waterfall, which flows from a 22.5-meter high cliff of eroded rock.  Pyonsan Beach is known for its 2 kilometer-long white, sandy beach, fir trees, and mysterious rock formations.
Neso Temple was built 1,300 years ago, and is noted for its natural attractions of azaleas, maple forests, dense stands of majestic pines, and spectacular waterfalls.  Trip includes a 1.5-hour drive.

DMZ Tour

One of the last relics of the Cold War, the DMZ attracts a great deal of public interest. Korea DMZ tourist sites have been created to quench people’s curiosity on this unique area where tension and peace coincide.  Your tour will include stops at the Joint Security Area (JSA); Freedom Bridge, where thousands of refugees crossed to freedom; Bridge of No Return, where North Korean and Allied POWs were released toward the end of the Korean War; and the Third Tunnel, which was discovered in 1976 as an attempted infiltration by North Korean troops. Yellow Sea Cruise

Take a ­harbor cruise out to sea and around the islands near the Kunsan coastline. The boat drops you off at Sonyu-do (Island) for approximately one hour, then starts its return trip. There are no restaurants on board, so bring lunch with you.  Trip includes a 30-minute drive.

Jeonju Zoo, Hanok Village & Outback Steak House

Korean Folk Village

Step 200+ years in the past and experience first-hand the culture of the Chosun Dynasty of 1392-1910.  Villagers are dressed in the clothes of the era and perform duties as their ancestors did.  Watch folk dances and plays and taste Korean food specialties from one of several restaurants at the market place.    Trip includes a three-hour drive.

Bamboo Market & Paegyang Temple

Choose from a variety of over 120 bamboo products for sale at this one-of-a-kind market you won’t want to miss!  Bamboo products include fans, mugs, fine-toothed grooming combs, blinds, and much more.
After shopping, visit Paegyang Temple, which is on the way to Kwangju, about 70 miles southeast of Kunsan.  The temple was built in 632 A.D., during the reign of King Mu of the Paekje Kingdom. Trip includes a 2.5-hour drive.
